A cosy, single storey detached barn conversion, across a courtyard from the owner's farm house amidst glorious Dorset countryside, in the scattered community of Alderholt, close to the borders of Wiltshire and Hampshire and 3 miles from the town of Fordingbridge, close to the edge of the New Forest National Park. Comfortably furnished throughout, the property is well equipped with the advantage of en- suite facilities, and is located close to a variety of footpaths and bridleways offering lovely walks. The property is a superb base for visiting the cathedral city of Salisbury, the super seaside resort of Bournemouth and the stunning New Forest, home to wild ponies and dotted with quaint villages.

| On the borders of Hampshire and Wiltshire and situated within an attractive area of woodland, heath-land and common land is the friendly, east Dorset community of Alderholt. Running by this charming village is the River Avon, well known for its trout fishing, whilst three miles away is Fordingbridge, a pretty Hampshire town close to the edge of The New Forest National Park. The park itself is home to wild ponies and is dotted with quaint villages throughout the swathes of purple heather and woodlands. A trip 10 miles to the north will take you to the cathedral city of Salisbury, whilst journeying south will bring you to Bournemouth with its lively shopping centre and wonderful "Blue Flag" rated beaches, making this a great family orientated holiday spot. |
