The Property
A traditional Grade II listed terraced cottage, just two minutes’ walk from the centre of Lapworth village, and from the Stratford and Grand Union canals which offer many walks and cycle trails. Tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, this cosy property offers an excellent mixture of old and new; 350 year old wall and ceiling beams blend in with modern furnishings to provide very comfortable accommodation. The cosy sitting room boasts numerous beams and a woodburner, whilst the modern dining kitchen has doors onto a mature, private garden with patio area - an excellent place for a summer evening drink and BBQ. This is a great base for touring the Cotswold countryside, taking in the splendour of the houses of William Shakespeare and his family, or visiting the many museums, theatres and historic attractions in the area, including a host of National Trust Properties. With Warwick and Royal Leamington Spa only a short drive away, this Lapworth cottage really is the perfect destination at any time of the year.
One double bedroom with beams, window shutters and en-suite with shower cubicle, basin & WC. Well-equipped fitted kitchen with dining area. Beamed sitting room with woodburner. |

| Situated in the Birmingham green belt and on the junction of the Stratford and Grand Union Canals, Lapworth is a well-situated village in the heart of England. Also close by are two wonderful National Trust Properties - Baddesley Clinton and Packwood House. With the country seat of Sir Christopher Wren in close proximity, visitors will be spoilt for choice in fine country homes. The area also boasts a range of excellent 'gastro-pubs' including The Boot, The Navigation and the Fleur-de-Lys, making it a great location for food-lovers. Warwick Castle is only five miles away and boasts live action jousting and trebuchet displays during the summer months. |
