| About 4 Swinton Hill Farm Cottages |
Cottage rental includes |
| The village of Swinton has been a rural centre since the 11th Century, but has been in its present form since the 1700s. Swinton lies just five miles north of Coldstream, which is on the banks of an excellent salmon river for anglers. Once the main town of the area, Duns, is steeped in history and a visit is highly recommended. There are many castles in the area and grand houses throughout the Scottish Boarders as well as the outdoor pursuits of fishing, golf and walking to keep everyone occupied during their visit. The east coast, with its beautiful, unspoiled beaches, is only a short drive away and Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh, can be reached in an hour. This is a lovely area and can be enjoyed all year round and is a great base to see all the region has to offer. |
