A beautiful detached cottage in fabulous open countryside near the hamlet of Llandyfaelog, with 15 acres of land to roam, including a riverbank where you can fish for trout or just sit and watch the herons, kingfishers and otters. This spacious Wales cottage is full of character, with open plan living accommodation decorated with charm and style. Explore this ‘Garden of Wales’ county with its beautiful countryside, sandy beaches, castles, Botanical gardens and historic market towns. Discover the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. Pembrey Country Park Blue Flag Beach is 8 miles away and Ffos Las Racecourse is 7 miles away. A wonderful cottage for a memorable family holiday.

With beautiful rolling hills, a superb coastline, unique flowers and gardens, gold mines, some of Britain’s best fishing, Carmarthen is a fantastic location to get away from it all. Locally, you can explore the beautiful Cambrian Mounts in the north of the county, to the majestic Black Mountain, and the national park at Brecon Beacons, and picturesque Tywi Valley in the east. For garden lovers, east of Llanarthne is situated the Welsh National Botanic Garden, which boasts the world’s largest single-span glass house and Britain’s most lengthy herbaceous border. The unusual Hywel Dda Gardens and Interpretive Centre located in the west of the county has six gardens, each representing a section of the legal world. For those interested in the history of welsh gold, the Dolaucothi Gold Mines on the hillside of the beautiful Cothi Valley conducts tours which describe the history and skills needed to pan gold, lectures about underground mining, and you can view gold on exhibition. Fresh water fishing abounds in the River Teifi with some of the world’s best salmon, sea and brown trout fishing. Speed-freaks will enjoy Pendine Sands, where Malcolm Campbell broke three land speed records, and the nearby Pendine Museum of Speed has the vehicles he used on display.
