Braithwaite Hall is situated in Coverdale which lies between Wensleydale and Upper Wharfedale and is accessed by a single track road, some 1.5 miles from the picturesque village of East Witton, complete with village pub and Post Office. From the village, the bustling market town of Leyburn is some 5 miles and provides a good selection of shops, pubs, tea rooms and craft workshops, along with the Wenselydale Railway. Middleham, home to over 1,000 racehorses and complete with beautiful Castle once occupied by Richard III and overlooks the town is approximately 2 miles.
