Situated on the edge of Cropton village amidst unspoilt countryside this charming single storey cottage dating back to the 1800s has been carefully converted retaining lots of charm and character. With flagstone floors, exposed beams, wood burning stove and under floor heating throughout together with en-suite facilities to each bedroom it is well equipped and tastefully furnished offering very comfortable accommodation at any time. Set on the owner’s farmland where there are other cottages around a small courtyard, the owner’s can arrange stabling for your own horse. Outdoor enthusiasts can walk and cycle into the open countryside and nearby Cropton Woods with fishing, golf and horse riding available locally. Cropton has a traditional inn serving real ales and good food, it is conveniently situated for exploring the North York Moors National Park, the City of York and the seaside resorts of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey. The historic market town of Pickering home to the Steam Preservation Railway, Dalby Forest on the southern slopes of the North York Moors National Park offers cycle paths and picnic areas with the Eden Camp War Museum and Castle Howard just a short drive away.
