A delightful, stone built, single storey end of terrace cottage situated in a quiet corner of the pretty town of Gatehouse of Fleet, in the midst of the picturesque Dumfries and Galloway countryside. Da Dheug, meaning the number twelve, has been fully renovated to provide a fantastic Scotland holiday cottage. Featuring an open plan living area, cosy bedrooms and a pretty, mature garden, this Gatehouse of Fleet cottage is a real delight, and provides a great touring base for exploring the many attractions of this beautiful area. The small town provides tempting shops, pubs and restaurants, while mountain biking and walking can be enjoyed in the area. Visit the Mill on the Fleet Visitor Centre, Fleet Bay's sandy beaches, or nearby Threave House and Gardens. A great holiday property, ideal all year round.

| The charming country town of Gatehouse of Fleet is set on the banks of the lovely Solway Firth, its peaceful streets lined with pastel-coloured houses and shops. The wonderful countryside of Dumfries and Galloway surrounds the town, which is also located just a few minutes drive from beautiful sandy beaches and a loch for river fishing. With a variety of shops including a baker, butcher, grocer, bank and post office, and pubs serving food and welcoming families, Gatehouse of Fleet also has a fascinating visitors centre set in a former bobbin mill, telling the story of the town’s cotton spinning days. |
