The area is naturally beautiful with Lickeen Forest, the Caragh River and the Caragh Lake. Lively Killorglin offers top-class restaurants and traditional music bars. Located on the famous Ring of Kerry, this is an excellent base for walking, rock climbing, fishing or golfing and for touring Dingle, Killarney and Tralee. There are several beautiful sandy beaches within easy driving distances and if it's raining there is the top class Aquadome in Tralee.

The Acoose Lake has trout and salmon and is a 15 minute walk from the front door. Fishing is free in the lake.
Enjoy the scenic paths of the Kerry Way or join the Ring of Kerry at Glenbeigh (8 miles).
Further afield the Dingle peninsula and lakes of Killarney provide a wonderful day out.
