Beautiful new house on its owns grounds with fabulous view over Mulroy Bay and the North coast of Donegal. There are many beautiful villages in the area with local pubs, hotels and restaurants. The Atlantic Drive starts in the village of Downings and takes on the short drive around the Rosguill Peninsula. The beautiful crescent shaped beach fronting the village of Downings has won a national Blue Flag and is an ideal place to relax and let the kids have fun splashing about in the shallow waters. Downings offers holidaymakers the ideal base from which to explore the peninsula and the surrounding countryside. There are lively pubs where you are assured of a friendly welcome, a great pint and some mighty craic! Traditional music is played in many of the pubs throughout the season. Downings is renowned for one of the main sea angling centres in Donegal and during the summer you can watch the catch of locally caught salmon, lobster and crab being landed in the harbour. The waters of the coast here offer the best sea fishing anywhere in Ireland.
