Cushendall is a designated conservation area with woodland walks, hill walking, golf, marina and watersports activities. The village itself is very pretty and an ideal base to explore the Antrim causeway coast and Glens of Antrim.

Cushendall is a pretty seaside village with many attractions including golf course, sailing club, watersports facilities, a good size supermarket, butchers, bakery, restaurant and local pubs. The nearest bigger town is Ballymena (20 miles inland) and it is a busy market town with the larger retail shops, cinema and leisure facilities.
A festival takes place in Cushendall every August, but the date varies year on year.
