Located in unspoilt north east Galway, yet within 1 hour of vibrant Galway city and Athlone, the village of Ballygar has much to offer. It is on the River Suck, making this the ideal base for angling. There are also many scenic walks in the area, and Aghrane woods where you can enjoy picnics and woodland walks. This large farmhouse retains its Irish charm and has a fully enclosed back garden. A lock-up tackle shed with fridge-freezer is located adjacent to the farmhouse to store your live bait. This part of the country is steeped in history, with many archaeological sites to be explored.
