Just over a half hour from the ferry port of Rosslare and two miles outside the village of Wellingtonbridge on the Hook Peninsula is this wonderful cosy farmhouse. Set in its own grounds overlooking fields with a sea view from front door, yet it is only a few miles from the coast. The cosy lounge has an open fire and the rear sitting room looks out over the garden. It makes a great touring base as this area has lots to offer with golden sandy beaches, picturesque harbours, and historic sites. There are many activities and attractions in the area including golf, fishing, riding, sailing, Hook Lighthouse and Tintern Abbey to name but a few.

A good location for seeing the area - you could visit the Hook Peninsula with its stunning lighthouse and many beaches or see Duncannon Fort, Tintern Abbey, Dunbrody Abbey with its maze, or visit the JFK homestead and arboretum. The historic town of Wexford is a delight but you could go a bit further and see Waterford City, home to the famous crystal factory - go via the delightful little car ferry running between Ballyhack and Passage East, it makes a lovely day out.
