First floor: 4 bedrooms - reached via 2 staircases, staircase 1 to 2 double bedrooms with under floor heating both with en suite shower rooms with shower cubicle, WC, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, shaver point. 1 with views of the church, one with views of the garden. Staircase 2 to landing 1 step up to 1 double bedroom with views of the church, 1 step up to twin bedroom for flexibility and alternative sleeping arrangements. In a pretty village setting over looking Grinton Church in the heart of Swaledale, East Mill House has been tastefully furnished and equipped to provide a comfortable stay at any time of the year. There is an ‘Aga’ in the kitchen and the sitting room has a multifuel stove together with an open fire in the dining room for those cosy nights in. Families or groups of friends will enjoy this perfect location, the terraced garden is ideal for relaxing or dining alfresco on the patio, there is also a pub serving good food within a short stroll. The two staircases with two bedrooms and bathroom facilities at opposite ends of the house ensure privacy. Walks can be taken directly from the doorstep to the slopes of Calver Hill, pretty flower filled meadows in the springtime and the surrounding countryside with its historic and distinctive remains of the former lead mining industry, the Coast to Coast long distance path also passes close by. Nearby the village of Reeth has pubs, a bakery, tea rooms, a weekly market, galleries to browse around and shops for every day needs. The historic market town of Leyburn is also close at hand and the Georgian town of Richmond with its castle and river side walks provides an alternative day out.
