A charming, brick-built cottage adjoining the owner's Victorian farmhouse in the rural hamlet of Poolhead, just 3 miles from the attractive market town of Wem. Standing in the grounds of a 30 acre equestrian centre, this delightful accommodation offers two sitting rooms, one of which boasts a sunny aspect, and access to the lovely garden via French windows. The surrounding, rolling farmland provides ample opportunity for a variety of walks, whilst nearby Wem and Ellesmere with its nine lakes are both well worth a visit! Explore Whittington Castle or the wonderful towns of Shrewsbury, Church Stretton or Ludlow. A great base at any time of year!

| The small hamlet of Poolhead nestles in beautiful North Shropshire farmland, and is located between the charming market towns of Ellesmere and Wem. These rural towns are welcoming places with a choice of visitor amenities including shops, pubs and eateries. Dating from Saxon times, Wem is a lively market town that still holds a market on Thursdays, and is famous as the home of modern sweet peas. Visitors can explore picturesque east Wales and the lovely county of Shropshire, including the interesting towns of Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Church Stretton, from the lovely village of Poolhead. |

Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge (no ice box), use of owner's washing machine in shared utility, 2 x colour TVs, DVD. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot on request. Off road parking for one car. Lockable bike storage. Enclosed lawned garden with patio area, garden furniture and BBQ. Sorry no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 3 miles.
