| About Holly Cottage |
Cottage rental includes |
| Situated in the north east corner of the Kingdom of Fife, St. Andrews is Scotland's oldest university town and is well known for its varied landscape of gentle hills, windswept cliffs, rocky bays and sandy beaches on which scenes from the film 'Chariots of Fire' were shot. Easily explored on foot, the town is spread around a main hub and consists of an interesting mix of buildings from 13th Century examples to those from the present day. The town offers a variety of shops and restaurants whilst golf enthusiasts will be well served by the 'Old Course' – constructed in the 16th Century – and the modern venues of championship events and the five alternative public courses. The area is also home to an excellent Golf Museum. Within easy driving distance are the towns of Fife, Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh. |
