| About Inner Hebridean Lodge |
Cottage rental includes |
| Cologin’s family run self catering chalets, lodges and cottages are tucked away in Lerags Glen just 2.5 miles south of the bustling seaside town of Oban - 'Gateway to the Isles'. Nestled between the hills with glorious, untamed countryside all around, the chalets are a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The beautiful and bustling town of Oban under 3 miles from Cologin deserves its reputation as the 'Gateway to the Isles'. It boasts Caledonian MacBrayne's west coast ferry port serving Mull, Iona, Colonsay, Islay and many islands in between. Oban has three excellent supermarkets, a cinema, sports centre with swimming pool, sailing club, bowling club, tennis courts, golf course, charming shops, its own distillery, a sandy beach and a great variety of pubs and restaurants. The Barn – the local pub which serves excellent meals is on site Our boat on the loch can also be booked just for fun and is freely available (with buoyancy aids) to Cologin guests. Pack a picnic and enjoy messing about on the water! Fishing for wild brown trout is free for Cologin guests from our own boat on Loch Gleann a'Bhearraidh! This lovely loch is just under one mile's gentle walk up through the forest in the hills above Cologin and the views are quite spectacular. The walk to the loch is part of a waymarked Forestry Commission trail through our hills and the gentle incline means that it is suitable for all ages and abilities |
