Very peacefully set in 2 acres of private wooded land, yet with easy access to the main Skye road, this detached house has wonderful views over Loch Duich to the hills and mountains beyond. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with abundant wild-life, opportunities for sea excursions and loch fishing and wonderful mountain/hill walking - high on the peaks of the nearby Five Sisters of Kintail or through glens to the Falls of Glomach, one of Britain's highest waterfalls. This attractive 2 storey house is extremely well insulated and triple glazed, providing warm, comfortable accommodation, ideal for a holiday at any time of the year. The bright sunny rooms are furnished in modern 'Scandinavian style' and the bedrooms have coombed ceilings and Velux windows. Parents should be aware that there is a fast flowing burn from the hills tumbles down a steep sided waterfall which is not fenced off so children will require close supervision.Shop at garage, 1/2 mile. 1 king-size double, 1 twin and 1 room with bunk beds; large light sitting room with large windows and French doors to verandah/deck and garden; dining room; modern fitted kitchen with breakfast table; utility room with shower room/w.c. off; bathroom.
