Bedroom 3: With double bed (and low beam - please take care) and further single bed in connecting room (for 6th guest - no extra charge).



There are many walks close by the property and a number of reservoirs including Ladybower, Underbank, Langsett and Midhopestones, which all have pretty walks in and around the area. The village of Bradfield has an upper and lower part and offers two lovely pubs where you can eat home cooked food and drink real ales. The village cricket field is the centre point with a river and footpaths in and around the area. Once in the Peak District the popular and interesting towns and villages are within easy reach. The Hope Valley has the caves and castle of Castleton, the start of the Pennine Way in Edale, and the popular towns of Buxton and Bakewell - well worth a visit. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are just outside Bakewell and have some of Britain's most stunning gardens and antiques and artwork. A great location to appreciate both Yorkshire and The Peak District area.

About Midhope Lodge Cottage rental includes
The Lodge is very spacious and offers fabulous family living accommodation with many original features from the old barn structure. The bedrooms have been tastefully finished and the under floor heating downstairs ensures a cosy, comfortable stay. The Lodge is close to a number of interesting market towns and is only a short drive away from The Peak District National Park bordering some of England's most stunning scenery and Stately Homes. The famous town of Holmfirth, home of "Last of the Summer Wine", is a short drive away where you can visit some lovely unique shops and dine in the cosy cafes.

This beautifully converted barn has been renovated to a very high standard and furnished with quality appliances and furnishings. It is attached to the owners' property and has lovely views around this small holding in the quaint village of Midhopestones.
All fuel for the background heating, power, bed linen and towels included. Cot and high chair available on request. First bag of logs and sticks provided. One well behaved dog allowed downstairs. Free Wi-fi

Partially enclosed patio area with furniture and use of field direct with owner. Off road parking for 2 cars. Please note: There is a pond in the grounds and the property is not far from the road - young children must be strictly supervised.
