Nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Dalehouse, are the charming barn conversions, formerly a Milking Parlour and Cow Byre that have been recently renovated into modern comfortable accommodation. They are very spacious with open plan kitchen, lounge and dining areas and have been lovingly decorated and furnished to a particularly high standard. They can be booked separately for either 4 or 6 people, or together for larger parties or reunions for families and friends. There is a ground floor bedroom with full en suite wet room in Mulgrave Cottage making it suitable and accessible for wheelchair users.
Dalehouse Farm was formally known as Mulgrave Farm and has been farmed by the same family for over four generations. It is still a working farm to day with 26 suckler cows and calves and 150 sheep with lambs. Situated in a peaceful location surrounded by breathtaking countryside providing the perfect stay for families and couples looking to get away from it all and explore this beautiful part of the world.
There are ample pathways and cycle tracks right on your doorstep with part of the Cleveland Way Walk within easy reach taking you along the cliff top within easy reach taking you along the cliff top with some stunning scenery, to the pretty coastal resort of Staithes, Runswick Bay and Sandsend with their miles of golden sandy beaches. You can also visit the historic fishing port of Whitby which is only 10 miles away where you can enjoy its famous fish and chips, traditional quaint gift shops, pubs and cobbled streets leading you up the 199 steps to the lovely Abbey overlooking the town and harbour which is definitely worth a visit. |
