A rural idyll on the Dee estuary in north Cheshire once a medieval deer park is the wholly lovely setting for this cluster of four newly coverted barns. Smartly furnished and very comfortable they are perfect for holidays at any time of year. The cottages sit round the perimeter of an enclosed ½ acre orchard and lawn amidst pastureland affording ample of space for tranquil relaxation yet within 15 miles of both the beautiful city of Chester and Liverpool vibrant city of culture. Contrasting cities they offer a huge range of year round attractions: Liverpool's Albert Dock is a UNESCO World Heritage site home to the Tate Liverpool art gallery the International World Slavery Museum among many and the Beatles Story. Chester boasts Roman city walls lovely riverside terraces designer shopping and a world famous zoo. Sandy beaches lie 6 miles away at West Kirby also site of a marine lake for windsurfing and the Wirral Country Park provides miles of scenic walking and cycling whilst further afield Snowdonia and the Lake District make great day trips. Parkgate (1 mile) offers restaurants café three pubs a general store and superb ice cream.
