A cosy annexe attached to the owner’s home on a quiet hillside just 4 miles from Capel Bangor. This delightful Wales cottage offers comfortable and well equipped accommodation, ideal for couples seeking a peaceful or romantic retreat. Enjoy beautiful views over rolling hillsides and Rheidol Reservoir, with possible sightings overhead of red kites, buzzards and owls from the cottage's pretty patio garden. A short walk takes you to the reservoir's visitor centre, where the Magic of Life Butterfly House, and trout fishing can be enjoyed. Spend a great day in the seaside town of Aberystwyth, from where you can take a steam railway ride up the hillside to Devils' Bridge. This is a welcoming Wales cottage, and a perfect base for a holiday at any time of the year.

| The scattered hamlet of Capel Bangor is set along the A44, just five miles from Aberystwyth. Boasting a shop and numerous award-winning pubs serving excellent food, the village is also served by the amenities of Aberystwyth, including a wide selection of shops, pubs, tea-rooms and restaurants. Also worth visiting is the town's Cliff Railway – the longest electric cliff line in Britain and known for its panoramic views. Guests in the region can enjoy a trip to the visitor’s centre by the Rheidol reservoir - part of the largest hydroelectric scheme in Wales - or alternatively can go trout fishing or spend the day at the Butterfly House; a location full of exotic plants and butterflies. This wonderful part of Wales has something for everyone, such as countryside walks, sandy beaches, a narrow gauge steam railway, museums and castles. |
