Ideally positioned in Pin Mill a tiny hamlet beside the River Orwell once home to Arthur Ransome (of Swallows and Amazons fame) and today visited regularly by artists writers and film crews this beautiful beamed cottage is a real gem. With its terraced garden and breathtaking riverside views it's a lovely spot to relax and unwind: visitors can savour the food at the famous Butt and Oyster pub (20 yards) watch the waterborne world go by or enjoy excellent local walking and bird watching. Constable Country the Suffolk Heritage Coast Colchester and Ipswich (7 miles) are all within an easy drive. Shop ½ mile.
