Townhead is a tiny hamlet 8 miles east of the historic border city of Carlisle and close to Hadrians wall. In and around the area are excellent opportunities for fishing, walking, birdwatching and golf to name but a few. The romantic Border Country and the industrial archaeology of the North Pennines are close by. |
