About Sea View
Cottage rental includes
Sea View is the ideal holiday destination for all those who wish to spend their holiday a stones throw from the sea! The property affords amazing views of the Irish Sea and a brisk early morning walk across the nearby sandy beach, lying just outside the front door, is the perfect way to begin the day. A glass of wine under the glorious sun set is the perfect way to end it. The beach is an absolute paradise for children and adults alike and can be viewed in its entirety from the decked area at the front of the property - idyllic for parents to relax and enjoy the panoramic view while watching their children at play. Port Logan gained national recognition as the location for the popular BBC television drama "Two Thousand Acres of Sky". Its unspoilt beauty, character and charm provide the perfect setting for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Its small harbour is popular with local fishermen and time spent watching the ebb and flow of the tide is the perfect way to wind down and relax. The rugged landscape is largely unspoilt and in places breathtakingly beautiful. It is a dream location for all those who love to spend time outdoors whether they are walkers, cyclists, golfers or bird watchers. Walkers are especially well catered for as Scotland's long distance footpath begins just up the road at Port Patrick. The incoming Gulf Stream helps this area enjoy a temperate and mild climate and exotic plant lovers should take the time to visit the nearby Logan Botanic Gardens at Port Logan, commonly accepted to be Scotland's most exotic garden. It houses a remarkable collection of bizarre and interesting plants and a number of other features such as the Walled Garden help to add to the visitor experience. It is also possible to buy a range of locally produced hand made goods and crafts. The Mull of Galloway, the most southerly point in Scotland, provides amazing panoramic views and offers a good opportunity to spot dolphins, seals, otters and maybe even a minke whale!Property has electric night storage heaters and panel heaters.
