A 4 mile drive leads to Caernarfon home to a magnificent castle and the Welsh Highland Railway for scenic journeys into the heart of the Snowdonia mountains whilst from Bangor (2 miles) bridges cross the Menai Strait to Anglesey where Beaumaris Castle the butterfly farm sea zoo and glorious sandy beaches for water sports are among the island's many attractions. And at the foot of Snowdon Llandberis (8 miles) boasts a lakeside and mountain railway as well as a slate museum and huge range of outdoor activities. Pub serving food and shop 1 mile.
