Portstewart, originally a small fishing village, has now become the jewel of the Causeway Coast. Its long, crescent-shaped sea front promenade is sheltered by rocky cliffs and headlands. Just west of the town, accessible by road or by a Cliffside walk, stretches Portstewart Strand, a fabulous, long sandy beach. It has everything required for a fantastic family holiday. It has wonderful beaches, scenic coastal walks, a rocky shoreline along its Promenade. 3 golf courses, tennis courts, a beautiful harbour with a number of attractive coastal towns and villages nearby.

This holiday home is a short walk to the coastal path and to the town centre with excellent beach park facilities fro children. Spacious and comfortable with a lovely, recently built conservatory offering a view of the sea, this house is just ten minutes' walk from the famous strand (a fabulous, long, sandy beach, protected by the National Trust) and 5 minutes' walk from the promenade and shops. The house makes an ideal base from which to explore the many local attractions - don't miss the Giants Causeway, sample the whiskey at Bushmills, Ireland's oldest distillery, play some of the most challenging golf courses anywhere in the world, or just relax and enjoy some traditional Irish hospitality. Portrush, Castlerock, Portballintrae and Ballycastle are all worth visiting. The area boasts a wide selection of cafés, restaurants and friendly bars. Entertainment for young people is catered for more than anywhere else in Ireland. Fun centres include Barry’s Amusements, the Dunluce Centre, Waterworld, Sportsland, Fantasy Island, the Playhouse and the Jet Centre.
