This detached single-storey holiday lodge originally built in 1760 is part traditional in style with many modern additions and stands at a small crossroads of lanes in level countryside 2 miles from Wilberfoss village. Just 10 miles away is the magnificent medieval city of York with a huge array of visitor museums and attractions Water World cinemas and an excellent designer shopping centre. Pocklington 4 miles has a range of interesting shops and the Yorkshire Wolds countryside unfolds beyond. Castle Howard Sledmere House and Nunnington Hall (National Trust Owned) are all within a half hour drive as are Flamingo Land and Eden Camp and a little further is the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway in Pickering. Pub 1 mile shops 2 miles.
