Situated in a quiet corner this former stable dating back to the 1800s has been imaginatively converted creating a cosy and character single storey cottage with beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove. It is well equipped and tastefully furnished offering welcoming accommodation, and outdoors is a lovely patio overlooking the fields and woodland. Located on the owner’s farmland where there are other holiday cottages, it is a haven for nature enthusiasts with an abundance of wildlife, ponies grazing in the meadows and walks from the doorstep creating the ideal country retreat for a relaxing holiday. Located midway between Pickering and Rosedale on the edge of Cropton village, where there is a good pub serving real ales and good food. The historic market town of Pickering 4 miles away offers many individual shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants together with the famous Steam Preservation Railway, with fishing, golf and horse riding available locally. The seaside resorts of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey are within a ½ hour drive or a 40 minute drive to the City of York.
