Only 12 miles away and known as the Gateway to the Brecon Beacons the bustling market town of Abergavenny offers shops pubs restaurants a leisure centre and theatre. Monmouth is an 8 mile drive whilst Hereford's magnificent cathedral and interesting shops are about 14 miles distant and Ross-on-Wye is 12 miles. Both the mountains and beautiful Wye Valley offer glorious walking and visitors will find superb Ryder Cup golf courses fishing pony trekking cycle hire and canoeing (at Symond's Yat 12 miles) are readily accessible.
