| About The John Fanner Barn |
Cottage rental includes |
| Set peacefully in one of Suffolk's prettiest villages, this attractive cluster of cottages has been created from the sympathetic conversion of a range of handsome farm buildings. Retaining many original features with their tastefully appointed and very comfortable interiors, they enjoy a wonderfully tranquil rural setting near the owners' lovely tudor house. Each cottage boasts its own individual garden and all of them enjoy access to the surrounding 30 acres of gardens, paddocks and farmland linking to 100 acres of Mellis Common and Judas Lane walking tracks, where gentle walking, cycling and bird watching are popular pastimes. Yaxley Manor offers the perfect haven in which to relax and unwind, yet is only 1.5 hours from London. If visitors can tear themselves away from the comforts of the cottages, a wide variety of attractions invite exploration. Southwold, the gem of the Suffolk heritage coast, offers a popular summer theatre, RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich Heath and the fish and chip restaurant on the beach is not to be missed. Thetford Forests' walking and cycling paths, the north Norfolk coasts long sandy beaches, steam museums, the lovely Norfolk broads and the fine medieval city of Norwich with its castle, cathedral, fine shops and restaurants are all easily accessible. Pub 500 yards shop 0.5 miles. |
