| Situated approximately a mile out of Barnard Castle in open countryside and set on the owners’ farm, Town Pasture Cottage provides a warm and very comfortable base with the sitting room on the first floor to take advantage of the views over the surrounding fields and countryside. There is a decked patio with table and chairs for relaxing and dining al-fresco and with full oil fired central heating it makes an ideal location throughout the year. The Jersey Farm Hotel and eatery is just a few minutes walk away and the market town of Barnard Castle caters for your everyday shopping requirements as well as interesting antique shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Bowes Museum is a short drive away with an ongoing programme of exhibitions complimenting its permanent collections and art gallery. The central location makes it ideal for touring and exploring both the Northern Dales and the Yorkshire Dales as well as Cumbria and for golfers it is in close proximity to three local golf courses. (Bookings for the golf can be pre-arranged with the owner). |
