The location is ideal for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland – Kelso is just 7 miles Holy Island is a 45 minute drive and historic Edinburgh city is only an hour away. Both the Pennine Way and St Cuthbert's Way pass through the village and the Northumberland National Park is ½ mile away so visitors can enjoy great walking from the door and golf fishing and horse riding are all available locally. Excellent dining pub 200 yards shop ½ mile.
