The unspoilt resort of Sandsend (2 miles) has breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding hills, and is at one end of 2½ miles of uninterrupted sandy beach which stretches from here to the west pier at Whitby. A wide choice of activities including fishing, riding, tennis, golf and swimming – all nearby. The North Yorkshire Moors are only 2 miles and offer glorious walking.
