This welcoming and newly refurbished farmhouse with its own blissful hot tub offers wonderful views and sits in quiet in a quiet but convenient rural setting on a working farm. There is informal fishing free of charge by arrangement with the friendly owners and for more serious fishing the beautiful Elan Valley with its stunning reservoirs is the areas main attraction and there is the River Wye and Llyngwyn Lake. The area is also a wonderful location for mountain biking bird watching and walking. Choose to walk the Glyndwr's Way Cistercian Way or on Offa's Dyke. Close by is the attractive Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells and the Royal Welsh Showground at Builth Wells. Rhayader with its regular livestock markets and spectacular Red Kite feeding station (daily) pottery Welsh Royal Crystal factory and leisure centre with indoor pool and fitness suite. Bustling Hereford's cathedral with its chained library and the Mappa Mundi draws visitors from all over the world. The book town of Hay-on-Wye with its international literary festival (in May) is close by. For children there is an indoor play barn and adventure park a small breeds farm an indoor activity centre cycle hire or pony trekking. Eat well in the numerous public houses and restaurants with fine cuisine or choose from the variety of take away houses. This is a superb location for touring the heart of Wales with the bonus that the dolphins of Cardigan Bay and the golden sands of the Gower and Aberdovey are within a day trip.
