Clarks' shopping village at Street Wells with its beautiful cathedral and Bishop's Palace the lovely lake and gardens of Sourhead and famous resorts of the Jurassic coast Lyme Regis Beer Branscombe and Sidmouth are all within easy reach as are Barrington Court and Montacute (both N.T.) and Forde Abbey while Exmoor and Longleat are a little further afield.
