Set in a peaceful and rural location in the picturesque hamlet of Wootton this detached cottage with its many interesting features offers warm and comfortable accommodation, ideal for a couple at any time of the year. A good base for exploring this beautiful area with its contrasting countryside, it is a walker’s paradise with immediate access to the ‘Weaver Hills’ where the scenery and views over Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Shropshire are breathtaking. The conservation village of Ellastone is just a mile away where there is a country inn, and a 10 minute drive takes you to Ashbourne – Gateway to the Peak District, which has a range of quality individual shops, pubs and restaurants. The River Dove weaves its way along the valley, whilst Dovedale, the Tissington Trail, the Manifold Valley, Carsington Water and Alton Towers are all close by, with Chatsworth House, Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton and The Potteries all within a 30 minute drive.
