The surrounding area a haven for abundant birdlife and offering wonderful climbing and hill walking holds many delights. Just 2 miles away the tours at Talisker Distillery are a popular attraction and at Dunvegan Castle (15 miles) home to the Macleod clan visitors can take seal boat trips on the loch as well as exploring the castle's fascinating interior and extensive grounds and formal gardens.
