The historic town of Dartmouth can be reached along the coastal road and has a good selection of shops and galleries along with eateries, and popular Salcombe can be reached via the foot ferry from East Portlemouth or by road. The beautiful beaches of Bantham, Thurlestone, and Slapton Sands are all in easy reach among many others, and keen walkers can enjoy a trip to Dartmoor.
